We've been coming here for years. Not as regularly as we once did, but that's only because we are no longer locals. We still can't visit the Vegas area without eating here at least once though. The food is very good and the service is impeccable. They've also spoiled me by having a large selection of sake that I've yet to see met by any other restaurant, much less exceeded.

If you’re looking for an amazing TRADITIONAL Shabu Shabu experience look no further. From the ambience, service (one awesome, hard-working waitress doing her best to take/serve orders and clean up tables ASAP), quality and taste of the meat/seafood, and lastly side dishes and ponzu sauces (spicy and regular yum)...this is by far the best Shabu in town. Been eating here for the past few years and have had other Shabu spots that are AYCE but the quality of the meat and taste of the broths have not been as great as this traditional Shabu experience. The go-to broth to get is just water because after adding seasonings, veggies, and meat, the broth will taste great! *Make a RESERVATION before every visit.* Some nights they can get very busy and if you have a reservation you’ll beat the wait time and be seated immediately :).

Disappointing sukiyaki. I'm totally a layman, but the sukiyaki I have had in the past was served in a very shallow dish with garlic and green onion added before the a smallish amount of broth. This allowed the broth to simmer down, enhancing the flavor. You would cook, simmer the broth down, add more broth and repeat. After a few cycles you had some seriously flavorful broth to cook with. Unfortunately this was not the case here. The sukiyaki broth is served in a large amount as though it were shabu shabu. This leads to a large amount of not so flavorful broth to work with. Service, cleanliness and all else was great here, but I came for a specific sukiyaki experience that they dont offer so I wont be returning.

I have to agree with the other commenter. The waitress here is not very pleasant. I requested some sauces on the side and she was very upset and complained that isn't the "correct" way to eat my food. I ordered sukiyaki and she said that it was already flavored therefore sauces were unnecessary. Obviously, I thought the opposite after I tasted my food and wanted more flavor so I asked for some on the side. It definitely tasted much more better after I got the sauces. Every customer is different and has their own preference. If the customer requests something on the side, as a waitress it is your job to bring it to them. I won't be coming back here. I rather go all the way across town to a different shabu restaurant where i know I won't be given a hard time with the food that I am paying for.

This place for sure hit the spot. I should have taken a photo of the meat and shrimp. But it was too good to be true. I would come back for sure, it was enough food!
